Tribal-style bellydance in a modern style originating in San Fransico. It has an ancient look and feel, but the format is new and designed to accommodate many dancers on “stage” at the same time. In this class I’ll teach you the basic steps plus isolations to perfect the moves. At the end of each class we’ll put it together and dance. And best of all, you’ll have fun and find a new appreciation of your body! More info: email Bobbi or call her at 443-3301. Here is a link for more info, http://tribes.tribe.net/tribalraks

In class we learn about authentic Egyptian dance music and how to interpret it using Egyptian movement and cultural aesthetics. We learn both improvisation and choreography; from the latest trends in Egypt, to the folkloric dances of the past. Egyptian style belly dance develops grace and strength in our bodies and connects us with the rich cultural heritage of the Egyptian people.
