The Barre workout is a full body workout that is a combination of ballet, pilates, and yoga designed to enhance flexibility, improve balance, and elongate the muscles . Barre targets arms, shoulders, stomach, legs, and glutes. You’ll start with a mat-based warm-up full of planks and push-ups, do a series of arm exercises with light weights, and continue at the barre with a lower-body section to work your thighs and glutes, stretching between each section to truly give your body what it needs.
How might your day, your week or your life shift if you could begin to see yourself as capable, as strong, as gentle, as beautiful, as enough? What would happen if you took the time to feel the connection between loving thoughts and the body’s reaction to positive self-talk and acceptance? In Movement Therapy we explore questions like these as well as the inner world through movement, intention, guided meditation and imagination, play, breath and dance. During this class, we will gently explore opening our hearts, minds and bodies through different movement forms and inner wisdom.
Movement Therapy…adding the good things to your life, one song, one breath, and one movement at a time. The music is powerful and the welcome is gentle, so come wander, play, find yourself and unlock the healing that lies inside of you. All bodies, all levels welcome, no experience needed. Drop-ins and DLC class cards apply. (Insurance may cover this class. Contact Jamie at 465-6845 for more info)

Mindful Movement for Toddlers
This class provides a supportive community to play with imagination and learn new ways to be mindful and creative in movement, while bonding with toddlers in a fun environment. Movement and play is a child’s first language and as a child moves and learns, his brain develops connections that store and organize the new information. The child’s personality expresses itself through movement. This class supports the toddler’s imagination and expressions by providing fun learning lessons through stories, play, games, songs, dance, brain-body movement and standing and sitting poses. Design to be fun and enriching, this class helps kiddos and caregivers feel more at home in their bodies. *Children must be accompanied by an adult for this class
