  • They are not part of the ongoing class schedule at Dancing Lotus Center

Barbara Denowh and Caitlin McWilliams are combining their extensive knowledge of yoga through applied anatomy, biomechanics, sustainable practice, philosophy, mental wellness and class construction.  This is an opportunity to both deepen your personal knowledge of yoga beyond the asana as well as set yourself up to pursue teaching with a rock solid foundation of yoga as a whole.


Yoga for a Cause

Start your weekend off with our playful Saturday morning yoga class. This is a special class that will be donation-based – pay what you can afford. All proceeds will go to support DLC Scholarship Foundation and must be provided in cash or check.


Yoga at Sunset


with Free Range Yoga Project
Wednesday, June 21st
8:00- 9:00PM

Join Free Range Yoga Project and Dancing Lotus Center to celebrate Summer Solstice by taking your yoga to the shores of Canyon Ferry Lake as the sun sets.

DLC class passes will be accepted as well as FRYP passes. Please bring your own mat or yoga paws!


Mindfulness Workshop

Join us in this workshop to learn basic mindfulness techniques and compassion practices, improving your well being through deeper awareness of yourself in the present moment. Mindfulness techniques have been proven to help those with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, sleep difficulties, poor concentration, low self-esteem, burnout, and more. We will explore formal meditation practices, sitting and walking (with postures to accommodate all abilities), along with informal practices such as mindful talking and listening.


Movement Therapy Pop-Ups

Movement Therapy…adding the good things to your life, one song, one breath, and one movement at a time. The music is powerful and the welcome is gentle, so come wander, play, find yourself and unlock the healing that lies inside of you.

Every Tuesday in May from 10:15am to 11:30! All bodies, all levels welcome, no experience needed. Drop-ins and DLC class cards apply. (Insurance may cover this class. Contact Jamie at 465-6845 for more info)


Adult Ballet Pop-Ups

Alexander Technique for Musicians

Handstand Flow Workshop

Whether you’ve been practicing for a few months or many years, this workshop will give you approachable steps to grow your practice. Come ready to learn how to handstand and how to refine your handstand. Come as you are! Beginning with a vinyasa flow and incorporating dynamic movement to heat up, we will explore our own strength, mobility, and playfulness. As we break down the challenges of handstand we will find freedom to move.
